Love Each Other

Jesus spoke and said, "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit-fruit that will last-and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other." -John 15:16-17

This is a time of confusion for many. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy in the world that we live in. It can be difficult to see God's purpose and plans for our lives at times. Our job is to point our eyes, hearts, and minds to Christ. It is easy to get wrapped up in the day to day news, trends, and political debates. We are called to love first and in that love, stand on what God's word says. You were chosen for this point in time to exist and work for God's kingdom. Being a follower of Christ does not come with an easy card.....often times we are chased by the enemy harder and may experience failures, heartaches, and roadblocks more than nonbelievers. It is how we respond to hardships and adversaries that can often be the most public decree of our faith to those watching us. God calls us to be crusaders for him and submit our lives to his purpose and his plan for each of us. Respond to life's challenges in complete faith that through Jesus, God has established and ordered our steps. We are chosen by him to live according to his plans in this exact time period to be difference makers, truth tellers, and leaders to show others the love of Christ and introduce them to a life of purpose through him.
