1 Peter 2:9

--But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

I am a daughter of the King.....a sinner that has been saved by grace.  I am a woman of faith that is just doing her best to be a light in a dark world.  I mess up daily, repent, and strive everyday to be more like Jesus.  I am a wife and mama of 3 in all phases......early elementary, middle school and a high school aged child.  I am also a teacher, daughter, and friend in the midst of a busy time in raising babies of all ages.  My husband and I strive to put God first and we are always running around from work to sporting and school events for each of our children.

The book of James gives me insight and wisdom in many areas of my life.  It is applicable to my day to day reminders I need for myself.  It helps to remind me that I am to be faithful during trials, count my blessings, do not judge others but show compassion....and so much more!
